Work: Luftspejling 2021

‘Luftspejling’ is a series of pieces printed on layers of Organza. Silk organza adds an extra dimension due to the silk’s translucency and tactile qualities. Mounted in painted solid oakframes frames and with a certain distance between the layers, the pieces takes form of three-dimensional objects in the room. The series is a repetition of a particular motive from the past creating a rhythmically movement, investigating a particular space and the mirage of the past.
