Relic of the past 2020

‘Relic of the past’ is a series of hand carved paper reliefs. The layers consist different white tones of paper, producing a characteristic depth and shadowing effect, where the elements so to speak pops out of the coherent surface. Using the iconic object of the typical mass-produced white plastic chair, the series is a tribute to rememberable family vacations in the nineties merging with the studies of a subtle spaces of tightly composed architectural spaces.
