Work: In between 2020

’In between’ is a series of hand carved paper reliefs, using different qualities of white paper and LED light to illuminate the layers from behind. The effect of light and shadow creates depth adding a characteristic expression to the relief pieces. The series is a tribute to the idea of different family constructions and the inherent presence and absence of a family unit.
